Remembering Bruce Wolf
On Friday Morning, April 18th, 2008, Many of us lost a dear friend and Collegue as Bruce Wolf passed away suddenly at his home in Centennial, Colorado. Bruce had recently learned that he had a brain tumor and was scheduled to have surgery to remove it on Wednesday April 23rd. Instead, there was a Celebration of his Life at Cherry Hills Community Church in Highlands Ranch with approximately 1,500 people in attendance from all over the Country. More about Bruce... Off to the Races!!! This was his theme when running for President of CAR and for NAR Treasurer. Bruce Wolf was a REALTOR® specializing in the Denver area, the Front Range and Colorado Country property real estate; a nationally recognized horse show judge; a recognized authority on horse properties including the sale of major horse centers and agricultural properties, as well as smaller residential suburban horse property sites. He specialized in all aspects of Residential Real Estate especially in his hometown of Littleton and the South Denver Metro area. Part of his expertise was in Country property sales including residential homes, raw land and development ground. Bruce had over 33 years of experience working with horse property, country properties, vacant land and land development.
Bruce was active in the community of the City of Littleton where he grew up and where the family farm is still located. He was also active in professional real estate organizations. In 1998 he was President of the Colorado Association of REALTORS®, (C.A.R.). In 1999 he was elected as a Director of the National Association of REALTORS® and elected in 2005 to serve as Treasurer of the National Association as part of the senior Leadership Team, one of the key decision makers for the largest trade Association in the World with over 1.3 million members. He served as Treasurer for NAR in 2006 and 2007. In 2002 he was selected to receive C.A.R.’s highest honor as REALTOR® of the Year.
Bruce was strongly identified with the Colorado equestrian community and formerly hosted a talk show called "Horse Talk" on Front Range Radio. Yearly sales in Country properties, horse properties and a country lifestyle, he enjoyed helping people who love horses and the lifestyle they want to live on country style properties. Bruce grew up in Littleton, Colorado, where he graduated from Littleton High School. He went on to college and graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelors degree.
He began his real estate career in 1973 when he joined Dawson and Company. In 1989 Bruce joined the Prudential Legend Realty, Inc. Over the years, Bruce had productively qualified to be included in the "Prudential Leading Edge Society", which includes only 6% of all associates in the entire Prudential Real Estate Network. Bruce was always ranked in the Top 5 of Prudential Legend realty production, year after year. In September of 2005 Bruce joined Prestige Real Estate Group, LLC as a Broker/Owner a company of 8 Denver area offices and over 400 agents. Prestige is largest privately owned real estate company in Colorado.
